The Opportunity

Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting one of the world's most advanced maritime patrol aircraft programs? As a Systems Administrator on the P-8A Poseidon team, you'll be managing and maintaining a range of IT systems that keep our ADF customer mission ready.

This role is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

As a System Australia within BDA, you will:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Carry out patching and system hardening.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues.
• Document and track system configuration.
• Assist in the design of new solutions.

About you

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO,TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of cyber security frameworks.
