Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to support the delivery of the Battlespace Communications Systems (BCS) Programs.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Support Services Specialist (ILS) to join our team in Brisbane based at both the Brisbane office and Wacol facility.

This is a role designed for a technical powerhouse. We aren't looking for a career manager; we are looking for a subject matter expert who loves the "doing." You will be the technical anchor for our support systems, ensuring that our delivery to the Australian Defence Force is seamless, compliant, and world-class.

Why this role is different:
This is a "hands-on" specialist role with a unique twist. You will own the technical execution of our ILS processes—from repairs and sparing to technical publications and codification. While your primary focus is on technical excellence and system delivery, you will also serve as a key mentor to our team of ILS professionals.

What you'll do:

• Drive Technical Excellence: Take ownership of repair management, sparing analysis, and technical publication authoring.
• Deliver the System: Ensure the complex technical workstreams (CDRLs, Codification, and LSA) are executed to the highest standard.
• Support the Team: Act as a technical mentor, "jumping in" to help the team solve complex problems and maintain momentum.
• Provide Operational Continuity: Under direction of the Support Services Manager, manage ILS workflows and engage with internal and external stakeholders to report on status.

What you bring:

• The ILS Toolkit: Deep, practical knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (LSA, sparing, and technical data) in a Defence setting.
• The Specialist Mindset: A passion for technical accuracy and a drive to see complex operational tasks through to completion.
• Technical Versatility: The ability to pivot from high-level spares analysis to hands-on technical authoring in a pinch.
• Leadership Capability: The confidence to provide technical guidance to peers and step into a supervisory role when necessary.
• ASDEFCON Experience: Experience and knowledge in delivering ILS packages of work under ideally ASDEFCON support contracts and ideally acquisition contracts.
