The Opportunity

In this role you will apply Configuration Management principles to effectively manage engineering change activities, effectively control project data to support program execution and make a meaningful contribution to data quality, compliance and integrity.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who will embrace Boeing Values and Behaviours to work as part of a dynamic team in support of world-leading aerospace and Defence products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration
  • Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed in a controlled manner.
  • Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
  • Maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements
  • Conduct data audit checks within tools to ensure correct principles are being applied and records management practices are adhered to and compliant.
  • Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Configuration and/or Data Management.
  • Formal Configuration Management training / certification (advantageous).
  • Experience using a Product Lifecycle Management system or electronic document management system.
  • Previous experience in defence or engineering highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
