The Overview
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aviation Operations Specialists to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of daily flying operations, maintaining mission planning systems, and ensuring the integrity of communications and data. You will work in a high-tempo environment, providing the essential groundcrew mission support required to ensure the fleet meets its operational objectives.

What you'll get to do
- Operational Support: Support and execute Apache daily flying operations within the Regiment's Operations Centre.
- Command & Control: Execute Command, Control, and Communications (C3) protocols for the fleet to ensure continuous operational connectivity.
- Mission Systems Execution: Manage mission planning system capabilities, including the technical processing of data uploads, downloads, and storage.
- Watch Keeping: Perform Watch keeper duties for flying operations as per the roster.
- Security Management: Assist in the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) accounts and protocols.
- Data Administration: Input flying hour allocations and flying plans accurately into the Patriot Excalibur (PEX) database.
- Operational Conduct: Assist in the seamless running and conduct of daily flying operations.
Who we're looking for
- Defence GCMS or Aviation Operations Specialist (AOS) training
- Minimum 5 years Aviation experience in operational support of aircraft
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo environment
- Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements
