The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are seeking an Inventory Planner to join the MQ‑28 Ghost Bat Production Facility currently being built at Wellcamp Toowoomba, QLD.

We expect this role to commence October 2026.
What you'll get to do:
- Ensuring inventory levels are maintained to meet daily production requirements;
- Key interface between planning, production, supply chain and warehouse to keep inventory data accurate and streamline inbound spares;
- Assist in the warehouse setup by analysing inventory locations against usage requirements;
- Conduct root cause analysis for deviations and underperformance, recommending corrective actions as needed;
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy;
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and inventory variances;
- Regular reporting on stockholdings against usage requirements;
- Facilitate transport booking requirements;
- Help develop and maintain warehouse procedures and standards.
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain management;
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy;
- Solid problem-solving and organisational skills;
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling open and effective communication among stakeholders;
- A positive attitude and willingness to continuously improve the way things are done;
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
