We are seeking a dynamic MRO Training Management Specialist to support Central MRO training governance, courseware design and delivery, and training management system oversight. You'll own a capability-level approach that standardises and centralises training requirements and outcomes, ensuring consistent, audit-ready learning across the organisation. This role will ensure a capability-level approach to maintenance training system management, delivering a standardised and centralised system of training requirements and outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Central MRO training system development and implementation while supporting development of a robust training management framework aligned with corporate and capability requirements.
  • Support development and design of aviation maintenance associated training including courseware and learning/training management plans.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs, skill gaps and develop continuous improvement outcomes.
  • Develop and implement MRO training schedules and ensure governance and compliance regarding schedule delivery.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of MRO related training outcomes through customer feedback and trend analysis.
  • Collaborate across the Business to ensure MRO training outcomes align to operational needs while meeting Boeing Enterprise requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to MRO training facilitators.
  • Communicate training metrics updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Necessary requirements

  • Australian Citizenship - due to the ability to hold or obtain a ASVGA Clearance
  • C class driver's license.
  • CERT IV Training and Assessing
  • Experience in training management system delivery in a complex aviation industry (desirable).
  • Experience in instructional duties and facilitation practices (Highly desirable).
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance training development and/or delivery (Highly desirable).
  • Experience, or knowledge, in non-technical skills training development or facilitation (Desirable).

 

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
