The Opportunity

At Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), we invite you to embark on this journey as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics within our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team at RAAF Base Amberley.
As we establish our ALQ-99 Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) Capability, your expertise will be essential in maintaining the advanced electronic warfare systems for the EA-18G Growler. Your contributions will directly impact operational readiness, providing critical support across Air, Sea, and Land units. Growlers play a vital role in modern military operations by ensuring air superiority and protecting friendly forces through their electronic warfare capabilities.

Applicants will be required to complete an initial 3 months of ALQ-99 training, followed by up to 9 months of On-the-Job training in Whidbey Island, USA. Additionally, you will be expected to support annual training exercises and operations both within Australia and internationally.
