The Opportunity -
In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Subcontracts Specialist to join our Supply Chain - Business Services team supporting the wider BDA business. In this role you will integrate program, customer, product and in‑service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting approaches, preparing, negotiating and executing commercially sound subcontract agreements that comply with regulations and Boeing policies. You will monitor and track subcontractor performance against contractual obligations and milestones, maintain accurate records of subcontracts, correspondence and performance reports, identify and mitigate subcontractor risks (including safety and project compliance), and seek opportunities for continuous improvement. You will also support subcontract-related invoicing and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate payments, and communicate effectively with industry partners, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to foster positive relationships, transparency and strong collaboration.
This role can be based at any of our major sites, Williamtown, Adelaide, Brisbane or Amberley.
