Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a dynamic Training Administrator based in Brisbane CBD, to assist with the planning, administration and compliance of training activities across the business.

The successful candidate will report to the Central Training Team Lead and support the Central Training Team by assisting with maintaining the enterprise learning management system, updating student and training records and participating in compliance and audit activities. Additionally, you will assist with coordinating with learning and development activities and provide support during training delivery.

Responsibilities:

As a Training Administrator, you will:

  • Update the enterprise learning management system catalogue items, course activities and learner records
  • Assist with student enrolments, assessments and learner record keeping in the relevant student management systems, including VETtrak
  • Assist with reporting on completed and overdue training
  • Participate in internal and external audits by assisting with preparing evidence, documentation and compliance reports
  • Prioritise and process request for training and professional development programs 
  • Coordinate, allocate and prepare training facilities and resources
  • Assist with classroom set up and pack down, including classroom configuration, training aids and audio-visual equipment
  • Liaise and foster relationships with learners, managers, subject matter experts, facilitators and external training providers
  • Reconcile and receipt training-related costs and financial reports.

Experience/Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • One or more years' experience with coordinating, scheduling or administrating training in a compliance, regulatory, defence or vocational education environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers, including trainers, students, business leaders, regulatory contacts and training providers.

Desirable:

  • Experience with learning management and student management systems, such as VETtrak
  • Experience with data and records management
  • Experience with purchasing and credit card reconciliation
  • Familiarity with aviation industry and vocational education standards and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and must be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process, including a full life background check. BDA will sponsor and support the required clearance process.
