The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Maintenance Controller to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.

Program overview
The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What you'll get to do

  • Under the ARTOPS they control the daily maintenance effort through the allocation of tasks to individual FRTs. This also includes amending the maintenance plan due to unscheduled maintenance.
  • MO Planning Timeframe. From current day to one week.
  • MO Duties:
    • Responsible for allocation and briefing of tasks to Part 145 FRT IAW endorsed maintenance plan.
    • Manage allocation of aircraft to Flight Line FRT.
    • Allocation of priorities for unscheduled maintenance IAW OOTD (Order of the Day - Flying Schedule) and flog rate
    • Responsible for daily liaison, including maintenance advice, with the Battle Captain .
    • Arrange aircraft priority for UMTP through BC.
    • Review the aircraft serviceability and prioritisation of tasks to meet the REGT Flog Rate.
    • Coordinate the transfer of aircraft between Part 145 and Flight Line FRTs.
    • Brief the daily aircraft availability to the flying brief.

Who we're looking for

  • Experience with CAMM2 (desirable)
  • Experience with fleet planning tools (desirable)
  • Previous aircraft trades experience.
