Boeing Defence Australia are seeking a Maintenance Operations Analyst to join our MQ-28 Operations and Test team. This role will report to the MQ-28 Logistics Engineering Manager and ensure delivery of maintenance operations services across the program. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of working in a diverse and geographically dispersed team in a dynamic environment.

This role can be based in Brisbane or Amberley.

The MQ-28 Maintenance Operations Analyst is a member of the Boeing Defence Australia Product Support, Training and Maintenance Capability. In this role you will work within the MQ-28 Product Support teams in the development and maintenance of support system solutions.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations Analyst responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of Support Equipment (SE) identification and reporting to ensure accurate and effective support.
  • Forecast GSE (Ground Support Equipment) requirements based on program requirements, maintenance schedules, and new project needs.
  • Develop maintenance policies (scheduled, predictive, preventive) to maximize availability and reliability of GSE.
  • Optimize equipment allocation to meet ramp, line, and hangar operational demands.
  • Support operational planning for peak periods, special events, and fleet changes.
  • Validate technical capability of GSE to support existing and new aircraft types.
  • Ensure that all analyses and reports align with the program's provisioning requirements, facilitating effective logistics support.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and analytical skills to support the development and maintenance of support equipment, ensuring operational readiness
  • Collaborating with Product Support team members, responsible for self-quality checks, highlighting process improvements to Team Lead.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, maintenance, operational or supply support environments, or Defence knowledge desirable.
  • Technical background in mechanical/electrical engineering, aviation maintenance, or related field.
  • Experience in ground support equipment management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance.
  • Current Australian Citizenship.
