The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.
Program overview
The AH-64 Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

As a Reliability Engineer on the program you will:
- Apply engineering and asset management principles to research system and component reliability issues including potential in-service solutions.
- Analyses failure data and develops advice on improvements to the maintenance program to minimise the impact of reliability issues.
- Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analysing improvements.
- Develops technical and customer correspondence for optimised safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Required AASB Engineering Authority: Design Engineer.
Who we're looking for
- Relevant Aerospace Engineering degree, 5 years+ relevant experience in similar role
- Superior experience in the performance of data analytics
- Superior experience in the use of reliability tools
- Previous Defence service/Defence aerospace experience
- (Desirable) completion of DASR 21, Part M, Type cert courses
- Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
