- Drive structural trade studies, optimization, and risk assessments to support program-level decisions.
- Mentor and guide teams of engineers, fostering growth in technical expertise and engineering judgment.
- Collaborate across disciplines—design, systems, loads, stress, and manufacturing—to achieve integrated solutions.
- Represent the structures discipline in design reviews, customer engagements, and technical boards, influencing key program outcomes.
- Champion improvements in structural methods, standards, and tools, enhancing efficiency and technical excellence.
- Interface with certification authorities as a delegated signatory or approver, ensuring compliance and safety assurance.

- Extensive experience in aircraft structural engineering, with proven expertise in both modification and sustainment.
- Deep knowledge of structural analysis techniques, repair development, and certification processes within the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) environment or within the equivalent CASA, EASA or EMAR systems.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders.:
