- Review and work with site leadership to maintain and uphold project compliance to safety documentation including project WHS plans, SWMS, task risk assessments, permits, plant pre-start records and safe systems of work.
- Liaise with project stakeholders (PM, site supervisors, contractors, clients and regulators) to coordinate project safety requirements and resolve EHS issues.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness: maintain and test emergency plans, first‑aid provisions, rescue teams and emergency drills.
- Collect, verify and maintain records of worker competency, licenses, trade certificates and induction certificates — ensure documents are valid, stored in the competency register, update expiry reminders, and provide access reports to site management and contractors.
