The Opportunity

The Boeing MQ-28A Ghost Bat is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage in airborne missions. Developed in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force, it is the first military combat aircraft to be designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia in 50 years.

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join our team to work with the Production team to support the execution of the MQ-28 Program. You will work with Production professionals and senior leaders to support the delivery of the MQ-28 Capability to our Defence customers.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develop project planning and scheduling across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Independently run the development, and continuous improvement of, Program Management processes and reporting
  • Supports management of execution baselines
  • Develop and co-ordinate execution for Production change management proposals and projects
  • Develop and deliver effective project reporting to internal and external stakeholders on project performance
  • Perform studies into potential solutions for Program challenges and provide the analysis to senior leaders
  • Assess, identify and manage project Risk, Issues and Opportunities

Experience/Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in applying project management skills in a high functioning, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management areas including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, supply chain and communication.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A willingness to lean forward into problems and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Formal tertiary qualifications and experience in manufacturing, engineering or supply chain management roles will be desirable
  • NV1 clearance or ability to obtain
