The opportunity

We are seeking a  Senior EMC Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to support Electromagnetic Compatibility  Testing  in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited Laboratory  supporting Boeing internal projects and external Clients. The role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and technologies.
  • Coordinates test requirements, facilitates execution of test methods and capabilities.
  • Conducts tests, analyses data and documents results.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems.
  • Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs.
  • Coaches and trains others.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Test & Evaluation technical support and analysis.
  • Trade/tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Radiocommunications Technician.
  • Proficiency in analog, digital and RF Disciplines.
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes.
  • Ex Military Communications Technician experience desirable
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - Negative Vetting 1.
