- Support failure/defect and occurrence reporting investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and design updates.
- Provide technical input to Configuration Management and support development, incorporation and service release activities.
- Liaise with Defence stakeholders to coordinate delivery of design and certification services, and hold / work towards relevant DASR engineering delegations/authorities.
- Depending on the level of experience you bring to the team, you will also mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-disciplinary design reviews.
- Work closely with operators, maintenance and a tight knit engineering crew to keep HATS flying high.
Who we are looking for:
- Must hold Tertiary-qualified Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace Engineer that satisfies Engineers Australia membership requirements (MIEAust).
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft modification design and/or certification activities.
- Experience in regulated aviation environments (CASA, DASA, FAA etc.) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interface with certification authorities, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, systems thinking, and disciplined documentation practices.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a schedule-driven environment.
