The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Officer - Avionics to join our P-8A Poseidon engineering team. What you'll do

• Deliver engineering support across the P-8A aircraft, mission support and training systems.
• Develop robust engineering artefacts under our Engineering Management System, with opportunities to gain Engineering Authority.
• Produce, review and evaluate technical documents, instructions and investigation reports.
• Liaise with Defence and industry stakeholders to identify, analyse and resolve technical issues rapidly and effectively.
• Help build and sustain a high-performing technical support team.

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Technical Officer or Technical Assessor with a proven record of delivering technical outcomes, investigations and risk exposure.
• Strong capability in analysis, reporting and identifying system risks.
• Experience operating within a Technical Regulatory Framework (or equivalent).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
