The Opportunity

BDA is seeking an experienced Senior HR Projects Officer on a maximum-term assignment up to August 2027.

The Senior HR Projects Officer is responsible for leading and directing the workflow of HR project activity including coordinating workflow within the HR Project team and supporting HR & Payroll procedures, processes and practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support HR project activity including the development of a HR Compliance Framework
  • Collaborate with internal HR Operations, Finance and IT functions to support compliance processes
  • Support policy interpretation, leverage approaches among Boeing Australian entities, streamline processes
  • Support the development of internal Pay Practices in alignment with legislative requirements and internal HR Policy and Procedures
  • Contribute to the development of a RACI matrix for HR, Payroll, and IT, establish documented processes, and implement checks through approvals and peer reviews
  • Establish and implement an internal SME Focal group and upskill SMEs on legislative compliance and policy interpretation 
  • Support the development and implementation of a holistic change management framework that includes change readiness, communication plans and training

Experience:

  • Min. 3-4 years' experience in a HR Generalist role with experience across a range of HR Operational functions and HR Projects
  • Strong ability to develop, interpret and apply HR policies, procedures and practices
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Innovation in HR practice with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in developing relationships at various levels within a business
  • Able to multitask, organize, prioritize and structure tasks and information
  • Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills, particularly using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience in Human Resources Information Systems, experience in Aurion and/or Work Day highly regarded
  • Experience in Change Management frameworks and practices highly desirable
