The Opportunity

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in a world-class aerospace program? Boeing Australia is seeking an energetic, organised, and proactive Project Coordinator to support the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This is your chance to contribute to mission-critical maritime patrol and intelligence capabilities while working within a high-performing team committed to Boeing's core values.

Why this role is exciting

  • Work directly on the P-8A program, supporting operations that protect national and regional security.
  • Be based at RAAF Base Edinburgh — collaborate daily with Defence customers and cross-functional Boeing teams.
  • Fast-paced, varied responsibilities: schedule management, stakeholder engagement, risk tracking, logistics coordination, and continuous process improvement.
  • Opportunity to grow your career in aerospace program delivery and be part of a global company that values innovation and excellence.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate program schedules, meetings, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, action logs, and progress reporting for internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between Boeing teams, Defence liaisons, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Support configuration and compliance activities, ensuring quality and safety requirements are upheld.
  • Monitor risks and issues, raising concerns and driving timely mitigation actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process standardisation.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in project or program coordination (aerospace, defence, or complex engineering programs preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable liaising with Defence personnel.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, reporting techniques, and governance frameworks.
  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude and high attention to detail.

Security requirement

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.

How you'll live Boeing's values

  • Safety: You put safety first in everything you coordinate — protecting our people, systems, and customers.
  • Integrity: You act transparently and ethically in all communications and decisions.
  • Quality: You ensure documentation and processes meet exacting standards so every deliverable is dependable.
  • Customer Focus: You prioritise Defence needs, building trust through responsive and professional support.
  • Innovation: You seek better ways to coordinate and streamline workflows, adopting creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Teamwork & Inclusion: You collaborate respectfully across diverse teams, valuing different perspectives to achieve shared mission success.

Benefits

  • Work with a world-recognised aerospace leader on a high-profile Defence program.
  • Professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Competitive salary and benefits aligned with role and experience.
  • Be part of a purposeful mission that supports national security.
