About the Enterprise

The Republic of Singapore operate a detachment of CH-47 Chinook Helicopters at Swartz Barracks, Oakey. Boeing Defence Australia provides Maintenance and Logistics support services to the Singaporean detachment.

The opportunity

The Program Coordinator for the MLSS Program directly reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for overall program coordination and administration tasks. This includes general administrative tasking, coordinating Program governance meetings and support to Program leadership with administration of various business management tools and processes.

In this roleyou will:

  • Execute Program meeting cadence, recording meeting minutes and establish actions for follow-up
  • Participate in governance boards including risk management, change management and Program performance reviews
    • Administration of purchasing, global trade control data access, travel bookings and other general tasking
    • Coordinate and administrate Contract Performance reports
    • Coordinate facilities and security activities in consultation with support agencies

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • A willingness to learn and grow your skills in Project Management.
  • A positive attitude and disposition that gets the best from others and supports the collaborative culture of the program.
  • Experience working within a service delivery organisation, preferably within a technical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with office administration tasks, business meeting secretariat skills and in supporting roles to program leadership teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with the use of the standard suite of Microsoft Office tools

Preferred but not essential:

  • Demonstrable understanding of core sustainment principles e.g. change management, baseline management, risk management
  • Experience with work management and/or collaborative workspace tools
