The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Governance, Compliance and Stocktaking Management Officer to join our diverse E-7A Wedgetail In Support Services (WISS) team in providing supply chain expertise. We are looking for a motivated individual to be responsible and accountable for governance, compliance and stocktaking requirements supporting WISS Sustainment.   As well as supporting and working within our team you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and build your professional network as you connect with stakeholders across the Boeing company.

This position plays an essential role in carrying out effective governance, compliance and stocktaking requirements, resolving and identifying issues and ensuring these are effectively managed and  processed throughout the supply chain. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain compliance to process and policy. This role is located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance direction in all governance and compliance requirements across WISS SCM.
  • Conduct regular stocktake management and reporting across WISS managed items to ensure ultimate inventory and stock are compliant to support the supply chain
  • Develop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal and external stakeholders and prime partners
  • Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies
  • Transact within ERP management systems for the execution of stocktaking, compliance and governance, including the management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFX)
  • Provide support to customer enquiries relating to governance, compliance and stocktaking system processes and requirements.
  • Identify and investigate and remediate items impacting platform objectives.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Integrated Logistic fundamentals, such as building stocktake plans per defence policy, management and governance of GFX and supply chain compliance per process and policy.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
  • High level written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams, suppliers and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level
  • Understanding of Airworthiness standards and advanced knowledge of ERP platforms (ORACLE/SAP4Hana preferred)
  • NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain
  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
