The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Warehouse Operations) to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail.  It is a bespoke retail warehouse with a team of six staff which support aircraft cycling through Deeper Maintenance at RAAF Base Amberley. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct warehouse operations including timely manner as a team.
  • Conduct transactions in warehouse inventory and accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Commonwealth and Boeing policy and procedures.
  • Support distribution of inventory to meet all internal and external customers' requirements which includes repairable items in order to meet the operational schedules.
  • While working alongside the customer you also provide direct support to all internal and external customers.
  • Processing (Inventory Management System) transactions to support project activities as required.
  • Continue to drive and support a strong safety culture that aligns with Boeing policy
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement ideas as a team member.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Desirable School leaver with passes in basic Math's and English
  • Provisional or full car Licence
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret security clearance. (NV1)
