The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is recruiting a Ground Crewman Aircraft Support (GCAS) Instructor to join our embedded training team at the Army Aviation Training Centre, Swartz Barracks, Oakey. Program overview
The AH-64 Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What you'll get to do
- Deliver and assess LMP training at the School of Army Aviation, including Initial Employment Training (IET).
- Act as a Qualified Assessor and Trade Testing Officer; conduct GCAS training in barracks and field environments.
- Review, update and author courseware, handouts and LMP material; assist with ePEX sections.
- Work to Defence publications, systems and regulatory standards (Operational & Technical Airworthiness).
- Apply Army Aviation Risk Management and comply with WHS, Defence Safety Manual and environmental policies.
- Be responsive to Army Aviation Training Centre requirements, subject to ITAR/IP constraints.
Who we're looking for
- Aviation Explosive Operations experience.
- Certificate IV TAE40116 (or higher) — Training and Assessment qualification.
- Bulk fuel qualification experience.
- Previous GCAS operational experience.

- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
