We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic MRO Platform Integration Specialist to assist the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Capability across all Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Programs to ensure best practices are in use, processes standardised, and new campaigns supported across the company where needed. 

As an MRO Platform Integration Specialist, you will assist the establishment of support requirements, cost estimates, technical objectives, definitions, and statement-of-work breakdowns while developing comprehensive reports, master schedules, and program implementation and integration plans; you will create estimates in support of proposal activities, monitor process development and coordinate activities to ensure technical data and procedures are fully documented - the successful candidate must have demonstrable experience and a strong understanding of the technical requirements within a Part 145 maintenance organisation. 

 

The Skills Needed for Success Include:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills to engage geographically dispersed stakeholders.
  • Experience and qualifications in project management (Desirable).
  • Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) 145 and 66 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework
  • Ability to work as an individual and in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Boeing Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) campaign and project management framework (desirable)
  • Intimate knowledge/Experience of MRO Pt145 procedures and practices in Line, Base, DM & MOD (desirable)

 

Necessary requirements

  • Australian Citizenship - due to the ability to hold or obtain a ASVGA Clearance
  • C class driver's license.
  • Cert IV in Project Management is helpful, however demonstrated experience in practical “real life” project experience is also highly valued.

 

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
