Step into an exciting career with our vibrant Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team as a Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst, where you'll support the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at Swartz Barracks, Oakey, Queensland.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for the scheduling and management of H135 Maintenance activities as well as supporting the management of aircraft technical documentation. The successful candidate will ideally possess knowledge and understanding of Defence rotary wing environmental structure and capability.

We're looking for a team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to task management. What you need to know

  • Hourly rate: Competitive renumeration package plus Superannuation and incentive plan, based on experience.
  • Roster: Day shift with potential for flexible working arrangements, as agreed with manager.
  • Initial travel for training in Nowra, NSW, may also be necessary.
  • Parking and canteen facilities available onsite.
  • Relocation assistance available for the right applicant.

 

The skills needed for success include

  • Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, aviation experience is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with maintenance management systems (cMRO an advantage or CAMM2).
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance data management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication with co-workers.
  • Proven initiative and effective task prioritization under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Experience working in a safety critical environment.

 

Necessary requirements

  • Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 AGSVA clearance

 

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
