As the Workforce Planning Integrator, you will play a vital role in strategic planning, resource allocation, and workforce optimisation to ensure our organisation's future by analysing workforce capabilities and forecasting future needs to ensure we have the right talent for our operational goals. This position is key to the MRO Services Growth and Strategy Team, focused on building local expertise and infrastructure that will uphold the highest safety and performance standards in military aviation.

Your work will enhance our ability to develop a skilled workforce that meets customer needs and supports the broader Australian aviation industry. In this dynamic role, you will conduct workforce analyses, create planning strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Engaging with managers across our BDA Aircraft Programs, you will assess future workforce requirements, prioritise growth and retention, and monitor the effectiveness of initiatives for continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to enhancing operational performance and driving strategic growth.

 

What you will be responsible for?

  • Champion recruitment and onboarding lifecycle focusing on creating efficiencies and streamlining the process
  • Develop processes and coordinate recruitment activities to ensure we meet resource forecast requirements including emergent work
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, status reviews, and monitor the execution of recruitment and retention strategies
  • Monitor, track, and communicate project metric data to stakeholders
  • Employee engagement focusing on workplace culture
  • Support to current and emerging business campaigns
  • Aid MRO Services Senior Leaders in the development of processes, procedures, metrics and capability skills enhancement

 

The skills needed for success include:

  • Proven experience in workforce planning
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared goals
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and workforce development best practices, with a focus on enhancing talent retention and growth

 

Necessary requirements

  • Australian Citizenship - due to the ability to hold or obtain a ASVGA Clearance
  • C class driver's license.
  • Cert IV in Project Management is helpful, however demonstrated experience in practical “real life” project experience is also highly valued.

 

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
