The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for a Supply Chain Contracts Manager for the Boeing Sustainment Operations Program.  Sustainment Operations within BDA are designed to enhance the effectiveness and longevity of Defence systems, ensuring that they remain capable of meeting mission requirements in a dynamic operational environment

This role will have responsibility for the Sustainment Operations Strategic Contracting activities, and support decision making by contributing supply chain subject matter expertise into business strategy, partnering and product roadmap activities. This is a key supply chain execution management role and we are seeking applicants who possess the following attributes:

The role can be located in Brisbane, Adelaide, Newcastle and Nowra.


As a Supply Chain Contracts Manager you will:

  • Managing and executing the contracting strategy across the Sustainment Operations Portfolio
  • Leading the development of sourcing strategies for all Sustainment Operations requirements
  • Leading the creation and management of strategic supplier partnerships
  • Managing the performance of the supply chain
  • Integrating with stakeholders across the Boeing division, and teams in Australia and the US

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • 10 years + experience in a strategic supply chain environment. Manufacturing and production experience desirable.
  • Contracting experience with complex Design and Construct and Infrastructure Categories
  • Tertiary or other formal qualifications and experience in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in senior roles within a matrix organisation (desirable)
