The Opportunity  

The Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities.

As we continue to accelerate the development program, and expand the aircraft flight envelope through the test program, we are seeking the very best talent from a diverse range of backgrounds to help grow and contribute to our innovative team.

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for a Security Administrator to join the MQ-28 Program. Applicants will have demonstrated experience in managing large volumes of administrative and highly sensitive data. Experience within Defence Industry will be favourably regarded.

This role is based in Brisbane or Melbourne.

As the Security Administrator on MQ28, you will:

  • Support Boeing Defence Australia and its customers in the development and implementation of Program Security Requirements, Responsibilities and Compliance;
  • Manage the sharing of information, development of artefacts, incoming and outgoing visit requests, foreign release requests and customer security administration requirements across the program;
  • Assist the MQ28 Security Manger in the development of administrative workflows to manage large volumes of data related to personnel, facilities and reporting requirements;
  • Develop and deliver new processes and procedures to streamline security on-boarding;
  • Engage with key stakeholders on Security requirements for the program; and,
  • Work alongside the MQ28 Security Team and broader MQ28 Program. 

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience working in a large Defence Industry prime contractor or with the Australian Department of Defence is essential;
  • Experience in managing Highly Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (HSPII);
  • Experience in Australian Government Classified Information management;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with the leadership team and other employees;
  • Current Defence Security Officer Course; and
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and hold a minimum NV1 security clearance with the ability to attain up to Negative Vetting Level 2.
