The Opportunity

We are seeking talented Electrical/Electronic/Communications Systems Design Engineers to support the world class E-7A Wedgetail airborne surveillance and communications platform. The roles are based in Brisbane, Newcastle or Adelaide.

As part of the E7-A Wedgetail Mission Systems team, you will be a key member of a team supporting the development, design and integration of state-of-the-art airborne Mission Systems Hardware, the heart of the E7 Wedgetail Capability.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Development of diverse engineering solutions for integrated avionics, communication, COTS equipment and control systems.
  • Design of airborne system hardware infrastructure solutions and associated connectivity.
  • Development of engineering documentation and supporting configuration management of mission system hardware infrastructure.
  • Engineering leadership in project roles.

To be successful you will have expertise/experience in some of the below:

  • Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in an electrical, electronic or communication system discipline. (RPEQ &/or CPEng desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering change processes.
  • Proven experience in a Defence environment is desirable.
