The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Accreditation Specialist to be the Execution Lead for key Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Program and development activities for a range of customers. The role is based in Brisbane, QLD.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice on best practices on system accreditation activities and standards across Boeing Defence Australia
- Provide quality assurance on system accreditation submissions, and maintain portfolio of systems and their authorisation status
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT specialists, project managers and other internal teams on the development and maintenance of incident response requirements and standards for projects that comply with relevant Government legislation as mandated by the Defence Industry Security Program
- Develop and implement an awareness and educational program specific to incident response to ensure compliance, confidentiality and operational security in line with Government requirements
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and high levels of integrity to ensure both Boeing and client information and data is protected
- Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance across the business
Experience/Qualifications
- This candidate must be able to gain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
- Familiarity with accreditation and authorisation of systems within the Australian Government context, with a good working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, DSPF and the DCIAB Assessment and Authorisation framework
- It is likely that a candidate may have a diploma or degree in cyber security, IT, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Any industry certifications such as ISO27001 lead implementer, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, IRAP, are highly desirable
- Highly organised, task oriented, self-starter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires minimal supervision
- Ability to make and/or change plans, goals and actions in response to an evolving business environment with the awareness to operate as a focal for incident response across the business
- Ability to travel periodically as planned or unplanned within or outside assigned region
