The Opportunity -
The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
An opportunity exists for a Site Manager - Aviation Operations to support the rotary wing programs based in Townsville. This position directly reports to the Director of Product Support & Maintenance team and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of the contracted statement of work under the Australian Services Contract. This role requires excellence in stakeholder communication and management as well as the ability to utilise your skills, knowledge and business acumen to establish and maintain effective governance and assurance. As a senior manager supported by your execution leaders, you will lead, direct and indirect reports executing the Contract. Additionally, you will have responsibility and accountability for Program budget, governance and strategic direction. Further, you will be a key contributor as a member of the Apache Leadership Team.
This role is based onsite in Townsville and will work alongside the customer.
