The opportunity

Our Finance professionals play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and cutting-edge solutions for the world's leading aerospace company. We are seeking a Payroll Officer to support our centralised payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft. 

This role is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities:

  • Running end to end payroll, for 3,500+ across 6 entities
  • Action payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changes
  • Run fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFT
  • Administer setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile payments
  • Reconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthly
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes 

Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience in payroll desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in processing end to end pay, desirable
  • Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft, desirable
  • Experience with EOFY payroll process, desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, strive for results and process improvement
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
