As an equal opportunity employer that promotes a diverse and safe workplace environment, one of the country's leading and preferred defence partners, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is now recruiting for a Mission Planning Specialist/Team Lead role based at RAAF Base, Amberley, QLD.
Please be aware, this role is not suitable for remote work.
This position will lead a team of Mission Planning specialists and Systems Administrators to deliver Mission Planning Systems outcome to Super Hornet and Growler aircrew.
Having a Defence Operational Mission Planning System background, strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage a diverse team will prove invaluable in this position.
JOB SUMMARY:
As the Team Leader, within the operational flying unit of Number 82 Wing, you will be responsible for delivering Mission Planning Capability through the prioritisation and management of the Mission Planning Environment for the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP) with Boeing Defence Australia (BDA). Located at RAAF Base Amberley, you will be part of the ICT Operations team that is a key contributor to the program which employs the best talent to develop and deliver world class capabilities and systems to protect Australia and its national interests.
