The Opportunity

Do you want to be part of the team designing, developing, producing and testing the MQ-28 Collaborative Combat Aircraft. The Boeing MQ-28 Program is developing a globally-significant force multiplier platform that will deliver a disruptive advantage for future Defence capability.

 Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is currently looking for capable Data Transfer Officers to join the team supporting the development and execution of the MQ-28 program's test environment. The role is based in Amberley, with deployment opportunities providing the successful applicant with front-line exposure to the MQ-28 Ghost Bat Collaborative Combat Aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team that manages and handles data from aircraft systems to support MQ-28 Cooperative Combat Aircraft operations
• Transfer data between different system boundaries and networks in accordance with governing procedures
• Facilitate the reclassification of data in line with security policies
• Improve aircraft data handling and data storage methods and procedures
• Improve aircraft data handling and data storage processes
• Improve aircraft data management and analysis systems and tools

Experience / Qualifications

• A background in data management or Information Technology / system administration,
• Familiarity with multiple computer hardware environments as well as the accompanying software/system
• Experience in Defence ICT infrastructure
• Experience in handling classified data
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Minimum NV1 security clearance
