The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides Through Life Support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) fleet of P-8A Poseidon aircraft in RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia. The program has an integrated Commonwealth and contractor workforce and is currently seeking applications for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join the BDA team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Integrated Planning and Scheduling team who support a range of complex campaigns, projects and programs based across our national business. 

This position is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Engaging with internal project stakeholders to support with the preparation, development and coordination of integrated plans and schedules to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Supporting the integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.
  • Engaging with control account and project managers for regular schedule status updates and support with integrating updates into the master schedule.
  • Creating report metrics and actively manage baseline change activities across the lifecycle of a program.
  • Analysing and reporting on project performance variances and incorporate recovery plans.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Experience with complex integrated plans and schedules on large scale projects and programs.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MSP, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.
  • Experience delivering Program Management Best Practices and Earned Value Management System.
  • Experience creating project schedules which identify time frames for key project milestones.
  • Experience synthesising program/project/SOW requisition into actionable and measurable tasks.
  • Experience developing programs with critical path and schedule risk assessment requirements.
  • Experience preparing, analysing and reporting recommendations to Program Senior Leadership.
  • Experience collecting and analysing data and generating metrics reports.
