The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia is one of the largest Defence contractors to the Australian government.

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner for a role like no other. Working in a high security environment, you will be developing and maintaining a comprehensive preventative maintenance and inspection program to ensure the sustained operation and serviceability of telecommunications infrastructure, plant, and equipment at our Darwin Site.

You will be making a meaningful contribution in supporting the capabilities of our National Security Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed work forecasts to assist with resource planning
  • Plan and develop maintenance schedules and track completion of all programed maintenance and inspection and corrective maintenance work
  • Produce reports and provide advice to ensure all infrastructure, plant and equipment and facilities are effectively maintained
  • Undertake basic administration tasks associated with the Computerised Management Maintenance System.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintenance planning or maintenance management of telecommunications infrastructure, plant and equipment, or facilities systems.
  • Experience with Computerised Management Maintenance Systems (MAXIMO® preferred).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise and work within defined timeframes.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including an ability to communicate at multiple organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment with internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WH&S and workplace diversity.

Security Clearance

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Government security requirements.

You will be required to successfully undergo an Australian Government positive vetting (PV) security clearance. You MUST be willing to disclose all required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life (i.e. birth to present time).
