We are recruiting for a Project Accountant supporting the Wakulda program within the Joint Systems division in Brisbane. The Project Accountant will be responsible for providing effective financial decision making support to the Project Manager, Financial Analysis Manager and Finance Lead. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure accurate Estimate at Complete, monthly financial forecasting & reporting and invoicing process development and delivery.
  • Contribute to financial business planning and program risk assessment activities.
  • Manage project cost analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and communicate variance analyses
  • Provide analysis and advice to internal stakeholders and customers.

 To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant Business degree
  • Broad project accounting experience in a similar role
  • Practical experience in financial management tools including ERP
  • Experience in cost management software considered favourably.
